With two "kidlets" at home, I am only responding to email
and updating the list about once a month. Thanks for your patience.
Please read this information. When you do, you make the list easier to produce, help ensure on time delivery of the list, and make the whole process more enjoyable for me.
Your privacy is important to me in this age of technology.
I will never SELL email addresses for any reason.
In addition, there are three main categories of privacy information
you need to be aware of regarding this website and the email lists:
For everyone who has only signed up to receive the weekly lists (SCLS and Forum)
- I will NEVER disclose, sell or otherwise release your email
address to anyone.
- If you are looking for someone you think may be signed up to receive the weekly forum, you are welcome to post a message to the forum (send it to margiekate@lindyhopping.com) to try to contact them.
For someone who posts a message to the Weekly Forum
- If you wish to post a comment, question, or event to the "LA Dance Forum", I require that you include a valid email address, and it will be included in the Forum along with your post. The main reason for this is so
that people can respond to you directly if they wish regarding your comment,
question, or event, without having to go through my list. I do not accept anonymous posts to the forum.
- Just be aware that if you post to the forum, everyone who receives it
now has your email address. If you're concerned about this, but want
to post, you might consider opening a "free web based" email address (such
as yahoo, hotmail, etc.) that you use only for posting to lists like this.
- Please note that my accpetable use policy states that misuse of email addresses from my list is grounds to be removed from the list.
Someone who has agreed to have their content posted on the weekly
calendar or on the website
- Since this information is readily available once posted to my website, if someone asks me for (as often happens) an instructor's email address, as an example, I do release that information. I do carbon copy the individual (the instructor in this example) to let them know that their
email address has been given out. I will not release any information
(should I for some reason have it) other than what is readily available
on the website.
